FAQ'S
Our Home
We are based in Hoddlesden in Lancashire. A small villiage just outside Darwen. We travel all over Lancashire and the North west, and are more than happy to travel further for a small mileage charge.
Traditional group shots
We are more than happy to do group shots, we understand these are pretty much expected. We would recommend if you can to try to limit them to around 8 groups as on average these can take between 25 & 45 minutes depending on the size of the groups, where we take them and how near the bar is . We send you a template of suggested groups but will do what ever you wish and on the day if you find the forgot a shot, me or Diane are more than happy to oblige, its your day and we are there for you.
Back up equipment
A wedding or christening is a very important event and so we always have back up cameras, batteries and flashes. Professional cameras also have two memory cards so the camera records the photos to each cards at the same time
Insurance
Yes indeed! :) we are fully insured for both public and professional indemnity and have all the paperwork to show if required. We bring back up cameras and lights also, should something happen, so you dont need to worry.
Deposit
We ask for a £100 deposit to secure your wedding date, with the remaining balance due 28 days before the big day. We ask for a completed booking form, which can be downloaded or emailed to you and if you dont have acces to a printer we can do it all electronically.
Seeing your photos
All of your images will usually be ready to view online in around 4 weeks. To some extent this can depend on the time of year. We send you a link to your own secure area which you can send to all your family and friends. they can look at them and even purchase prints at reasonable prices and sizes.
Believe it not, we feel the same about being photographed, so don't worry, we are on the same page there! To help we are calm, relaxed and wont put any pressure on you.
We like to get genuine photos of couples as possible. We "only" borrow you both for around 15 minutes for the "Romantics" IE we put you both together, somewhere really nice and quiet and away from the guests and family. We put long lenses on the cameras and we wait. Then after a couple of minutes you will start to feel yourselves again, not on display and relaxed and chilled, only then will i make some suggestions, we take it easy with no pressure.
Most couple 15 minutes is do able, but if you want more or have your own ideas, absolutely no problem, its your day.
